Keputusan Mahkamah Rayuan untuk mengekalkan perbicaraan kes Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim di Mahkamah Tinggi secara jelas dan terang menggambarkan usaha berterusan Umno-BN untuk memastikan kemaraan rakyat di bawah Pakatan Rakyat terhalang.

Setelah pelbagai usaha jahat dan kotor untuk mengganggu gugat kestabilan Pakatan Rakyat menemui jalan buntu, maka klimaks kepada usaha ini terlihat melalui perbicaraan mahkamah ke atas konspirasi kedua yang dipalitkan ke atas Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Pembuktian bagaimana usaha terancang yang melibatkan Peguam Negara dan Ketua Polis Negara – ironinya keduanya adalah institusi besar di dalam perjalanan kes ini – sebermula konspirasi tahun 1998 dahulu, ditolak mentah oleh Mahkamah Rayuan.Justeru hari ini, Angkatan Muda Keadilan Malaysia (AMK), secara rasminya melancarkan Gerakan Rakyat Tolak Konspirasi Jahat Terhadap Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (KEJAM).

KEJAM tidak ditubuhkan semata-mata berasaskan sentimen politik, tetapi bersandarkan kepada fakta perundangan yang bersifat imperikal yang secara langsung membuktikan bahawa konspirasi kes liwat kedua ini adalah satu usaha politik kotor dan terdesak oleh Umno-BN.Pembuktian demi pembuktian telahpun dikemuka dan diperoleh, namun perencanaan jahat ini kelihatan berupaya menghasilkan keputusan yang memenangkan mereka dengan kerjasama daripada institusi perundangan dan polis yang telahpun membuktikan profesionalisme yang mencurigakan sepanjang proses penyiasataan dan perbicaraan awal kes ini berjalan.

KEJAM akan menggerakkan usaha menyatakan solidariti ke atas Datuk Seri Anwar, dan akan menyebarluas fakta-fakta dan bukti-bukti alibi yang sekaligus membuktikan bahawa konspirasi ini tidak lain hanyalah satu usaha mengekang kemaraan rakyat yang semakin hari semakin menolak Umno-BN.

AMK yakin dan percaya bahawa usaha kotor ini akan menemui kegagalan di tangan rakyat, malah impaknya akan lebih memberi kesan kepada Umno-BN, selagi mana mereka terus dijangkiti sindrom penafian bahawa rakyat semakin muak dan jelak ke atas konspirasi jahat ini.Rakyat semakin celik dengan kebenaran, dan rakyat akan terus jelek untuk menelan ‘operasi pembodohan’ yang dijalankan Umno-BN secara berterusan.

Segala tomohan dan fitnah BN terhadap PR yang kononnya retak menunggu belah rupanya berjaya dinafikan dengan perhimpunan hari ini . REFORMS BY PRIME MINISTER NAJIB RAZAK ARE NOT LIBERAL OR MODERN ENOUGH TO PROPEL MALAYSIA TO BE COMPETITIVE TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF A GLOBAL WORLD
PM NAJIB RAZAK have introduced a series of reforms in an attempt to transform Malaysia to a high income country. He has slimmed down the NEP by reducing the 30% bumiputra equity quota to 12.5%. He has also curbed the powers of the Foreign Investment Committee and substituted it with a smaller committee.
To reassure the bumiputras, he has retained the 30% bumiputra equity target, but will use different modes to achieve the objective.
It is a pity that the PM has not understood why the 40 year old NEP has failed to help poor Malaysians, whether Malays, Chinese or Indians. The average poor Malay household only earn about RM3,000 per household or only RM500 per person (in a family of 5). Admittedly, the NEP enriched Umno cronies who became obscenely rich, while the Malays in rural areas are still mired in poverty.
PM NAJIB SHOULD LEARN FROM THE NEP EXPERIENCE
The 40 year old NEP slowed down economic growth since it was implemented in 1971. In 1957 at independence, Malaysia had the second highest per capita income (PCI) in Asia, after Japan. The World Bank has statistics that showed the per capita income slowed down since 1971, and has fallen behind S Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. In 2008, Malaysia has a PCI of US$6,000, while S Korea has US$19,000, Taiwan US$17,000, Hong Kong US$30,000 and Singapore US$34,000.It was Malaysia’s natural resources that saved the day, otherwise our pci would be much lower in the company of banana republics.
THE CAUSES
1.The NEP drove away foreign investors, and last year our FDI was only RM46 billion, and estimated to fall by half this year. Thailand has more FDIs than Malaysia.
2. The bumiputra quota system. Bumiputras have been showered with quotas from the day they were born, they were pampered in every field of personal endeavour. The quota system has engendered a dependent psychology which has affected their performance in education, in jobs and in business. In other words, the country is moving at 50% capacity, and resulting in a low per capita income. If all citizens have put their shoulders to the wheel, the per capital income (nominal) should be near US$20,000 as in a developed country.
THE OLD FORMULA OF QUOTAS AND BUMIPUTRAISM HAS FAILED TO BRING PROSPERITY
PM NAJIB has himself admitted that the NEP quota system is outdated and not productive any more. However he did not advocate a new philsophy for the country. Instead, he did say that in the future, the 30% target is still the objective, and a new model is contemplated to achieve that. This is unbelievable. What he is proposing would be equivalent to reviving NEP, in which case, he is condemning Malaysia to another 40 years of economic stagnation and the plight of the poor will get worse.
TIME TO ADOPT A CULTURE OF MERITOCRACY AND COMPETITIVENESS
We live in new global age where race is neutral and where nations interact on the principle of competitiveness, accountability and transparency. We must have good governance, because in the new era the investment climate must be liberal, open, corruption free and judicial independence.
The ability of the indigenous people, whether Malays, Dayaks or Ibans are as good as their Malaysian brothers and sisters. Statistics show that 50% or more are professionals, engineers, doctors, accountants and corporation executives, many are doing well in service industries.
Education is the key to success for all. The next is discipline and hard work. These are the same qualities of successful people in other countries, especially developed countries in the States, Europe, Japan, or India.
China is the classic example of success. from a poor communist country, she has become the third richest country of the world because a former premier, Deng Xiao Peng promulated four modern liberalisation policies of a free market economy. The people put in a lot of hard work and discipline. China, it is predicted that she will overtake Japan in 2010, and become the world’s second richest country.
Malaysia can be a developed country also, if it modernises like China and is united like one people as Malaysians, no ketuanan melayu and no bumi and non bumiputras.

DADAH MUSUH NEGARA !

Menurut statistik Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK) pada tahun 2008, jumlah penagih dalam negara kita adalah seramai 12,352 orang yang merangkumi penagih lama dan baru. Secara umumnya 75% penagih dadah adalah umat Melayu. Pada setiap hari kira-kira 17 orang penagih baru dikesan. Selain daripada itu pada masa ini terdapat 29 buah Pusat Serenti di seluruh negara yang menampung kira-kira 10,000 orang penagih dadah sebagai tempat rawatan dan pemulihan. Menurut sumber agensi itu lagi, hanya kira-kira antara 20-25% penagih dadah yang menghuni di Pusat Serenti berjaya dipulihkan. Manakala yang lainnya gagal untuk dipulihkan, di mana hidup terumbang ambing, lemah serta terjebak menghidap HIV dan AIDS.

Akin , Ketua AMK berkaitan mobilisasi Konspirasi Jahat Terhadap Anwar Ibrahim ( KEJAM ) bagi memastikan rakyat terutama para pendokong KEADILAN dan PR turun ke Mahkamah Tinggi Jalan Duta , 8 Julai 2009 jam 9 pagi dengan memakai baju HITAM sebagai tanda sokongan moral terhadap Ketua Umum Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim .

Saya sengaja bertolak agak lewat kerana terlalu penat serta memberi ruang pada pemandu saya mr. zul @ awe rehat secukupnya . saya pun sama terlalu penat dengan kem dan persiapan pejabat saya di Kota Damansara . kesempatan itu saya gunakan untuk tidur dan rehat . Terkejut jam 1.30 pagi tadi dan bersiap untuk ke Manek Urai . Harap sampai di Kuala Krai jam 7 pagi dan terus ke tempat penamaan calon .

Selepas penamaan calon , saya akan melawat Bilik Gerakan AMK dan mendengar taklimat gerakerja PRK oleh Sdr W/ Chairul , Ketua AMK Negeri Kelantan . Selepas itu saya akan balik semula ke Kuala Lumpur untuk mobilisasi KEJAM.

MALAYSIA’S ANWAR IBRAHIM FACES A NEW TRIAL

In September of 1998, Malaysia and the world were stunned when its Deputy Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, was suddenly sacked, and a short while later arrested on charges of corruption and sodomy. Incredibly, almost 11 years later, he is facing the same nightmare all over again, with his trial on a new charge of sodomy due to be heard starting 8 July.
The 1998-99 trial was condemned around the world as manifestly flawed, riddled as it was with manipulation and shoddy fabrication of evidence, and unfair decisions by the judge. On the night of his arrest, Anwar was savagely assaulted by the chief of police, and denied proper medical treatment for the entire duration of his 6-year detention. He was also kept in solitary confinement throughout. Leaders from around the world as well as international human rights and legal organizations recognized him as a political prisoner.
Anwar, having made a remarkable return to Malaysian politics since his release from prison in 2004, is now Leader of the Opposition, and is widely seen as a serious threat (or a viable alternative, according to one’s political leanings) to the 51-year reign of the National Front coalition, and to new PM Najib Abdul Razak in particular.
The new charge was served on Anwar in July of last year. He was arrested and detained in the police lock-up overnight, despite offering full cooperation to the police in their investigations. Anwar maintains that, once again, the case is baseless and has been cooked up in an attempt to scuttle the revival of his political career. And indeed, the conduct of the case thus far seems to be aimed at humiliating him and ruining his reputation rather than fulfilling the requirements of the legal process.
Ominously, some of the main players in the prosecution are the same as for the first case, including Gani Patail, since elevated to Attorney General, and Musa Hassan, now holding the top police post.
Anwar and his team of lawyers believe that this new case will be argued mainly on the basis of DNA evidence. A new DNA Bill was recently rushed through Parliament, thought to be intended to facilitate the prosecution’s case.
Looking at the progress of the case so far, there appear to be many serious discrepancies and a lack of professional ethics on the part of both the police and the Attorney General’s office. But, as in the earlier case, if a pliant judge has been found, this will not prevent a conviction from being handed down to Anwar. If he is found guilty, he faces another lengthy spell behind bars.

77% undi isu keretakan PR di Kedah kecil

Di dalam satu undian SMS Edisi 7 malam tadi , 77% responden berpendapat keretakan Pakatan Rakyat di Kedah boleh dikategorikan sebagai kecil dan cuma 23% menyatakan disebaliknya.Ia memberikan nafas lega bagi pemimpin-pemimpin dan penyokong Pakatan Rakyat bukan sahaja di Kedah malah diseluruh negara kerana sepastinya isu berkenaan akan gagal dipergunakan oleh UMNO BN untuk meraih sokongan rakyat kepada mereka.

Sementara itu, Jawatankuasa Kerja Pusat DAP dijangka akan mengadakan mesyuarat minggu depan bagi membincangkan tindakan DAP Kedah keluar daripada pakatan pembangkang di negeri itu.
Setiausaha Agung DAP, Lim Guan Eng berkata mesyuarat itu akan diadakan selepas mendapat maklum balas daripada Penasihat DAP, Lim Kit Siang, esok."Saya percaya surat (daripada DAP Kedah) telah dihantar ke ibu pejabat (DAP). Saya belum baca surat itu lagi," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Pameran Fotografi sempena pengisytiharan Georgetown sebagai Tapak Warisan Dunia, di sini, hari ini.

Rabu lepas, Pengerusi DAP Kedah, Thomas Su mengumumkan DAP keluar daripada pakatan pembangkang negeri kerana tidak berpuas hati dengan beberapa isu termasuk tindakan merobohkan satu-satunya pusat penyembelihan babi di Kampung Berjaya, Alor Setar.Beliau juga menyifatkan kerajaan Kedah pimpinan PAS sebagai lemah dan sering menimbulkan masalah termasuk mengenakan kuota perumahan Bumiputera sebanyak 50 peratus.

Di dalam perkembangan berkaitan wakil rakyat tunggal DAP di Kedah Lee Guan Aik hari ini mengisytiharkan dirinya sebagai Anggota Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) bebas dan berkecuali dan tidak lagi menjadi penyokong kerajaan negeri.Sebagai ADUN bebas dan berkecuali, katanya, beliau juga tidak akan menyokong Barisan Nasional (BN) tetapi sebaliknya hanya menyokong pihak yang benar sahaja.

Pecat Johari, PKR Kecewa Tindakan Guan Eng

GEORGETOWN [2.35 pm] - Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) kecewa dengan sikap tidak bermuafakat Ketua Menteri, Lim Guan Eng, berkaitan isu Ahli Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Prai (MPSP), Johari Kassim, sehingga membawa kepada pemecatannya, minggu lalu. Pengerusi PKR Pulau Pinang, Datuk Zahrain Mohamed Hashim, berkata sebelum ini PKR pusat sudah membuat keputusan supaya Johari tidak dipecat kerana beliau menyesal dengan perbuatan memboikot majlis pelantikan Yang Dipertua MPSP, Mokhtar Mohd Jait, bulan lalu.

Malah, katanya, Johari juga sedia berjumpa dengan Ketua Menteri berhubung perkara itu, tetapi malangnya Guan Eng enggan bertemu dengan pemimpin PKR berkenaan. "Saya rasa ini satu sikap yang tidak bermuafakat. Malah, kalau kita mahu bersikap seperti Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz seperti yang dilaung-laungkan, pemimpin Islam yang bersifat penuh belas kasihan dan adil, jika ada ada orang membuat kesilapan, kita harus bertolak ansur dan mahu mendengar bukannya ambil sikap tidak mahu berjumpa langsung.

"Ini bukan pandangan peribadi saya, ini pandangan ahli PKR sebab keputusan dibuat oleh kepimpinan parti. Ia bukan keputusan Ketua Umum atau Presiden tetapi keputusan bersama kepimpinan peringkat pusat dan negeri," katanya

Isu Perak, Kerajaan Marah Kenyataan Abu Talib

KUALA LUMPUR [4.30 pm] - Kerajaan UMNO dan Barisan Nasional berang dengan kenyataan Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia (Suhakam) Tan Sri Abu Talib Othman , yang menggesa pilihanraya diadakan segera di Perak. Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Nazri Aziz berkata Abu Talib tidak lagi layak mempengerusikan badan hak asasi manusia itu kerana tidak berpendirian neutral dalam krisis politik di Perak.

Mei lalu, Abu Talib berkata rakyat Perak harus diberi pilihan untuk melaksanakan tanggungjawab menentukan kerajaan kehendak mereka. “Ini adalah asas hak asasi manusia,” tegas Abu Talib. Beliau berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas perlantikan Dr Zambry sebagai Menteri Besar Perak dan kejadian Speaker V Sivakumar diheret keluar dari DUN Perak. Nazri berkata kenyataan bekas Peguam Negara itu bersifat subjudis dan boleh mempengaruhi kes kerajaan Perak.

"Itu ada pandangan beliau. Beliau ada kebebasan untuk menyatakan pandangannya. Bagaimanapun bagi saya, beliau tidak wajar menyatakan demikian," kata Nazri. "Sebagai bekas pendakwa raya utama negara dan Peguam Negara, beliau tidak harus mempengaruhi hakim memandangkan kes masih dalam pertimbangan mahkamah. Sangat jelas ia adalah subjudis," katanya lagi.

Dr M: Where did Petronas money go?

KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Petronas adviser Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today asked what did the government spend with the RM253.6 billion payment from the national oil company over the past six years when his successor Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was prime minister.
The former prime minister, a trenchant critic of Abdullah, wrote in his www.chedet.cc weblog that Petronas has been paying dividends, taxes, royalty and export duties to the government since 1976, after it was set up as the national custodian for fossil fuels.
"Where has the money gone to?" Dr Mahathir asked.
He said Petronas began by paying RM300 million in 1976, rising to RM2 billion in 1981, when he assumed office. The total from 1981 to 2003 was RM168.8 billion for the 22 years that marked Dr Mahathir's tenure as the country's fourth prime minister.
"From then onwards it increased from RM19 billion in 2004 to RM67.8 billion in 2009. The total for six years is RM253.6 billion," he said. It is not known if the figures were adjusted for foreign exchange fluctuations as oil is usually quoted in US dollars.
"I am sure the government had spent the money wisely. It would be interesting to know what the RM253.6 billion was spent on," said Dr Mahathir, who retired as prime minister in favour of Abdullah, who stepped down in early April.
His remarks today came after a June 25 announcement by Petronas that it had paid RM30 billion in dividends to the federal government for the financial year ended March 31, 2009.
The amount was despite a 14 per cent decline in net profit to RM52.5 billion due to lower crude oil prices and higher operating costs and included a special dividend of RM6 billion which was declared in the last calendar year. Petronas paid out RM24 billion in the previous financial year.
Apart from the dividends, Petronas — the country's only Fortune 500 company — also paid RM29.4 billion taxes, RM6.2 billion royalties and RM2.2 billion export duties for the last financial year, totalling RM67.8 billion to the federal government against RM56.8 billion in the previous year. -by Malaysian Insider.
